Mural Diemen 800  |  This mural on the Rode Kruislaan in Diemen is because of the 800th birthday of Diemen. Organisation Diemen 800 asked me to do one of two murals as a present for the inhabitants of Diemen.

So I visitied the neighbour a few times to talk with the people who live in this area and gathered a lot of stories about things that are going on and representing this part of Diemen. From a few of those elements I made this design.

Luckily I did not had to paint this by myself, this wall is 9 floors high, so I asked my dear assistants to do the highest 2 floors. We started with fresh windy weather and ended in a heatwave.
